Twin Peaks Lager
Light-bodied, crisp, with some bready sweetness and a slight citrus character. Very little hops flavor, with some pepper and bitterness up front, and a hint of floral that fades almost before you swallow it. Nice creaminess.
Black Lodge
This comes across like a Belgian dubbel. High cherry note up front with a medium sweetness that slowly fades into a low bitterness with slight acidity. A light roast in the middle of the sip. The bitterness toward the end of the sip transitions into the aftertaste. Thin-to-medium body that is cut by the carbonation. Same esters as on the nose with some dark roast chocolate and toasted bread notes. Finishes with an interesting combination of the sweetness from the esters and a low-medium carbonic acid dryness. This beer has a flavor of vanilla cola.
The Owl
There is a bounce between the herbal sage notes and the sweetness from this beer, however the beer is left with a bitterness from the spice that takes over in the finish. Low carbonation and astringent on the finish. Crazy herbal notes—sage, juniper berry, pine taste like you’ve grabbed a bunch and rubbed it in your hands.
White Lodge
Sweet and lemony with hints of orange and tropical fruit. A very unique grape-juice-like flavor with some intense gooseberry and tart cherry notes. The malt is just enough to showcase the hops character. Similar mineral profile in the aroma. A mix of citrusy hops and a touch of malt sweetness and perhaps even a perception of sweetness from the hops (maybe tropical fruit) work to balance this one out, both in flavor and finish.
One Eyed Jack
Tart and spicy wheat, with dark and melanoidin malts, caramel chews, and toast. A pleasant hit of clove that works so well with the raisin, jackfruit, and mild banana. Subtle burnt sugar, along with a hint of popcorn and minty hops. The carbonation is prickly, and it finishes crisp and dry.
